In Thursday's league outing, the Morrison Mustangs (Morrison, IL) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Orion Chargers (Orion, IL), by a margin of 61-36.
The Mustangs (13-6) will now prepare for their outing against Oregon (Oregon, IL). The Hawks go into the non-league outing with a 6-16 record. In their last outing, Oregon was trounced by Winnebago (Winnebago, IL), 70-22, in a league outing.
The Chargers now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Kewanee for a non-league outing on Friday, January 14. Orion will encounter a Boilermakers squad coming off a 56-29 league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Boilermakers record now stands at 8-6.
