Colorado High School Basketball - Alamosa crushes Ignacio

Alamosa Mean Moose (Alamosa, CO) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Ignacio Bobcats (Ignacio, CO), 52-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Alamosa upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Mean Moose travel to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO) to play the Panthers in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout on Saturday, January 14. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Montezuma-Cortez won 63-57 in their recent league bout against Bayfield (Bayfield, CO)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Pagosa Springs Pirates (Pagosa Springs, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain bout, on Saturday, January 14. Ignacio will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 8-2 record after their 43-38 league loss to Centauri (La Jara, CO).
