The Tigers come into the battle with a record of 6-4. Akron lost 75-61 in their recent league battle against Royalton-Hartland (Middleport, NY)

The Purple Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Newfane (Newfane, NY). The Panthers come into the Section 6 Niagara - Orleans battle with a 5-4 record. In their last battle, Newfane was nudged by North Tonawanda (North Tonawanda, NY), 67-61, in a non-league battle.
