The Highlands Blazers basketball team (Irving, TX), was nudged 36-29 in Friday's league battle with the host Alcuin Hawks (Dallas, TX)

The Hawks now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wylie Prep Academy for a TAPPS 2A District 3 battle on Friday, January 20. Alcuin will confront a Patriots team coming off a 67-24 league win over Highlands (Irving, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 10-1.
