The Alleman Pioneers basketball team (Rock Island, IL), was overwhelmed 81-32 in Friday's league battle with the host Moline Maroons (Moline, IL)
The Maroons now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host East St. Louis for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Moline will battle a Flyers team coming off a 72-71 league win over Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Flyers record now stands at 10-3.
The Pioneers (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL). The Rockets come into the non-league battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Rockridge trounced Morrison (Morrison, IL), 63-29, in a league battle.
