Oshkosh North Spartans (Oshkosh, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Appleton East Patriots (Appleton, WI), 63-59 in a league bout.

With the win, Oshkosh North upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The Spartans travel to Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI) to clash with the Wildcats in a Fox Valley bout on Friday, January 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-8. Oshkosh West won 66-62 in their recent non-league bout against Wausau East (Wausau, WI)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Neenah Rockets (Neenah, WI) in a Fox Valley bout, on Friday, January 20. Appleton East will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Rockets go into the bout with a 9-5 record after their 65-57 non-league win over Brookfield East (Brookfield, WI).
