Archer City Wildcats (Archer City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Olney Cubs (Olney, TX), 67-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Archer City upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Seymour (Seymour, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a 2A Region II District 9 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Seymour won 48-45 in their recent league bout against Nocona (Nocona, TX)

Next up, the Cubs clash with the Petrolia Pirates (Petrolia, TX) in a 2A Region II District 9 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Olney will attempt to upgrade on its 6-19 season record.
