The Argyle Eagles basketball team (Argyle, TX), dropped 49-41 in Friday's league battle with the host Denton Broncos (Denton, TX)

The Broncos now possess a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Richland for a 5A Region I District 7 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Denton will confront a Royals team coming off a 60-55 league loss to Grapevine (Grapevine, TX). The Royals record now stands at 14-5.

The Eagles (18-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Dallas (Corinth, TX). The Falcons come into the 5A Region I District 7 battle with a 4-15 record. In their last battle, Lake Dallas dropped by Birdville (North Richland Hills, TX), 74-60, in a league battle.
