With the win, Highland Springs upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Springers host Freeman (Richmond, VA) to play the Mavericks in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Mavericks go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Freeman won 44-41 in their recent league bout against Deep Run (Glen Allen, VA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA) in a Capital bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Armstrong will attempt to upgrade on its 1-9 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 7-6 record after their 64-51 league loss to Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA).
