Iowa High School Basketball - Assumption can't hold off Davenport Central

The Davenport Central Blue Devils basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the host Assumption Knights to 71 in the Blue Devils league victory on Friday.
The Blue Devils now sport a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Burlington for a Mississippi contest on Monday, January 16. Davenport Central will battle a Grayhounds team coming off a 67-43 non-league loss to Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA). The Grayhounds record now stands at 12-4.
The Knights (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against North Scott (Eldridge, IA). The Lancers come into the Mississippi contest with a 9-3 record.
