In Friday's league outing, the Coudersport Falcons (Coudersport, PA) basketball squad felled the visiting Austin Panthers (Austin, PA), by a margin of 54-39.

The Falcons (4-5) will now prepare for their outing against Union (Rimersburg, PA). The Knights/Damsels go into the non-league outing with a 6-5 record. In their last outing, Union was beaten by Cranberry Area (Seneca, PA), 68-55, in a non-league outing.

The Panthers now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Port Allegany for a North Tier outing on Tuesday, January 17. Austin will encounter a Gators squad coming off a 63-47 league win over Galeton (Galeton, PA). The Gators record now stands at 5-5.
