The Austin Maroons basketball team (Austin, TX), was overwhelmed 58-36 in Friday's league battle with the host Dripping Springs Tigers (Dripping Springs, TX)

The Tigers now possess a 13-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bowie for a 6A Region IV District 26 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Dripping Springs will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 56-55 league loss to Anderson (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-8.

The Maroons (11-11) will now prepare for their battle against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 6A Region IV District 26 battle with a 14-8 record.
