Bath County Wildcats (Owingsville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting East Carter Raiders (Grayson, KY), 52-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bath County upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY) to play the Panthers in a District 61 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Fleming County won 77-67 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta (Augusta, KY)

Next up, the Raiders play the Elliott County Lions (Sandy Hook, KY) in a District 62 bout, on Wednesday, January 18. East Carter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-14 record after their 81-67 non-league loss to Fairview (Ashland, KY).
