The MacArthur Cardinals (Irving, TX) basketball nipped the visiting Berkner Rams (Richardson, TX), 63-61 in Friday's league test.

The Cardinals (6-18) will now prepare for their test against Nimitz (Irving, TX). The Vikings go into the 6A Region I District 7 test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Nimitz was tipped by Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), 83-34, in a league test.

The Rams now own a 4-17 record. They play next when they travel to Richardson for a 6A Region I District 7 test on Tuesday, January 17. Berkner will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 74-57 league win over Dallas Jesuit (Dallas, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 17-9.
