Georgia High School Basketball - Berrien ripped by Sumter County

The Sumter County Panthers basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Berrien Rebels to 44 in the Panthers league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now sport a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dodge County for a AA Region 1 contest on Saturday, January 14. Sumter County will battle a Indians team coming off a 64-58 league win over Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Indians record now stands at 9-2.

The Rebels (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Dodge County (Eastman, GA). The Indians enter the AA Region 1 contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Dodge County was routed by Sumter County (Americus, GA), 56-51, in a league contest.
