The Beulah Miners (Beulah, ND) basketball nipped the visiting Shiloh Christian Skyhawks (Bismarck, ND), 51-46 in Friday's non-league test.
The Miners (6-2) will now prepare for their test against New England (New England, ND). The Tigers go into the B Region 7 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, New England was tipped by Trinity (Dickinson, ND), 66-21, in a league test.
The Skyhawks now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hazen for a non-league test on Monday, January 16. Shiloh Christian will encounter a Bison squad coming off a 72-64 non-league win over Des Lacs-Burlington (Des Lacs, ND). The Bison record now stands at 6-2.
