The Houston County Fighting Irish (Erin, TN) basketball knocked off the visiting Big Sandy Red Devils (Big Sandy, TN), 79-59 in Friday's league test.

The Fighting Irish (6-8) will now prepare for their test against Stewart County (Dover, TN). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Stewart County went down by Camden Central (Camden, TN), 71-43, in a league test.
