The Big Sandy Pioneers basketball team scored 88 points and held the visiting Turner Tornadoes to 58 in the Pioneers league triumph on Friday.
The Pioneers now sport a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Chester-Joplin-Inverness for a C District 9 contest on Saturday, January 14. Big Sandy will meet a Hawks team coming off a 57-47 league win over Fort Benton (Fort Benton, MT). The Hawks record now stands at 6-1.
The Tornadoes (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Benton (Fort Benton, MT). The Longhorns enter the C District 9 contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Fort Benton was routed by Chester-Joplin-Inverness (Chester, MT), 57-47, in a league contest.
