Bismarck Demons (Bismarck, ND) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Dickinson Midgets (Dickinson, ND), 82-66 in a league bout.

With the win, Bismarck upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Demons host Turtle Mountain (Belcourt, ND) to clash with the Braves in a A West bout on Saturday, January 14. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Turtle Mountain won 81-74 in their recent league bout against St. Mary's Central (Bismarck, ND)

Next up, the Midgets clash with the Mandan Braves (Mandan, ND) in a A West bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Dickinson will attempt to upgrade on its 5-3 season record. The Braves go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 86-59 league win over Watford City (Watford City, ND).
