Pennsylvania High School Basketball - North Catholic trounces Blackhawk

The North Catholic Trojans (Cranberry Township, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA), 89-54 in Friday's league test.
The Trojans (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Beaver (Beaver, PA). The Bobcats go into the WPIAL 4A 2 test with a 11-1 record. In their last test, Beaver walloped Ambridge (Ambridge, PA), 74-51, in a league test.
The Cougars now own a 6-5 record. They play next when they travel to Franklin for a non-league test on Saturday, January 14. Blackhawk will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 55-50 non-league win over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Knights record now stands at 7-4.
