Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Heritage Hawks (Broadlands, IL) and the host Blue Ridge Knights (Farmer City, IL), saw Heritage's basketball squad wallop Blue Ridge by a tally of 68-36.

With the victory, Heritage improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Hawks host Judah Christian (Champaign, IL) to play the Tribe in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Tribe come into the challenge with a record of 4-8. Judah Christian won 49-43 in their recent league challenge against Schlarman (Danville, IL)

Next up, the Knights play the Argenta-Oreana Bombers (Argenta, IL) in a Lincoln Prairie challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Blue Ridge will attempt to improve on its 7-13 season record. The Bombers come into the challenge with a 8-10 record after their 76-60 non-league loss to St. Teresa (Decatur, IL).
