The South Portland Red Riots basketball team scored 50 points and restricted the visiting Bonny Eagle Scots to 33 in the Red Riots league victory on Friday.
The Red Riots now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Thornton Academy for a AA South contest on Tuesday, January 17. South Portland will battle a Trojans team coming off a 78-63 league win over Noble (Berwick, ME). The Trojans record now stands at 9-1.
The Scots (5-5) will now prepare for their contest against Noble (Berwick, ME). The Knights come into the AA South contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Noble was defeated by Thornton Academy (Saco, ME), 78-63, in a league contest.
