In Friday's league match, the visiting Boyd Broncos basketball team scored a tight 65-59 triumph over the Guyer Wildcats.
In their next game, the Broncos meet the Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 match, on Tuesday, January 17. Boyd will attempt to better on its 17-6 season record. The Bengals enter the match with a 14-11 record after their 47-44 league loss to Rock Hill (Frisco, TX).
With the defeat, Guyer moves to 16-9 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Prosper (Prosper, TX) to meet the Eagles in a 6A Region I District 5 match on Tuesday, January 17. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 10-14. Prosper won 51-39 in their recent league match against McKinney (McKinney, TX)
