South Carolina High School Basketball - Branchville knocked off by Bridges Prep

The Bridges Prep Buccaneers basketball team scored 74 points and held the host Branchville Yellow Jackets to 56 in the Buccaneers league triumph on Friday.

The Buccaneers now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Royal Live Oaks Academy for a A Region 7 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Bridges Prep will battle a Royal Knights team coming off a 70-19 league loss to Branchville (Branchville, SC). The Royal Knights record now stands at 0-4.

The Yellow Jackets (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Hunter-Kinard-Tyler (Neeses, SC). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-7 record. In their last contest, Hunter-Kinard-Tyler ran past Williston-Elko (Williston, SC), 48-45, in a league contest.
