With the victory, Southside Christian upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Sabres travel to High Point Academy (Spartanburg, SC) to play the Grizzlies in a A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Grizzlies come into the bout with a record of 11-6. High Point Academy lost 78-52 in their recent league bout against Christ Church Episcopal (Greenville, SC)

Next up, the Bengal play the GREEN Upstate Owls (Simpsonville, SC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Brashier Middle College Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 8-6 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 0-8 record after their 73-33 non-league loss to Hampton Park Christian (Greenville, SC).
