Panama Panthers (Panama, NY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Brocton Bulldogs (Brocton, NY), 78-26 in a league bout.

With the win, Panama upgrades its record to 8-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Chautauqua Lake (Mayville, NY) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Chautauqua Lake won 63-56 in their recent league bout against Maple Grove (Bemus Point, NY)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Sherman Wildcats (Sherman, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Brocton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 6-4 record after their 61-40 league loss to Panama (Panama, NY).
