Louisiana High School Basketball - Buckeye knocked off by Marksville

The Marksville Tigers basketball team scored 47 points and held the host Buckeye Panthers to 31 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bolton for a 3A District 2 contest on Tuesday, January 17.
The Panthers (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against Bunkie (Bunkie, LA). The Panthers enter the 3A District 2 contest with a 11-9 record. In their last contest, Bunkie ran past Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA), 35-33, in a league contest.
