In Friday's league match, the host Buckingham Knights basketball team scored a good 72-53 triumph over the Cumberland Dukes.
In their next game, the Knights meet the Prince Edward County Eagles (Farmville, VA) in a James River match, on Tuesday, January 17. Buckingham will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record.
