South Carolina High School Basketball - Buford can't hold off York Prep

The Buford Yellowjackets basketball team (Lancaster, SC), was nudged 57-55 in Friday's league battle with the visiting York Prep Patriots (Rock Hill, SC)

The Patriots now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central for a AA Region 5 battle on Tuesday, January 17. York Prep will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 56-51 league loss to Andrew Jackson (Kershaw, SC). The Eagles record now stands at 9-4.

Next up, the Yellowjackets clash with the North Central Knights (Kershaw, SC) in a AA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Buford will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-5 record after their 77-72 league loss to Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC).
