Columbia Wildcats (Nampa, ID) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Caldwell Cougars (Caldwell, ID), 51-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Columbia upgrades its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Bishop Kelly (Boise, ID) to play the Knights in a 4A Southern Idaho bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Knights come into the bout with a record of 4-8. Bishop Kelly lost 46-41 in their recent league bout against Skyview (Nampa, ID)

With the defeat, Caldwell moves to 6-7 on the year. The Cougars travel to Vallivue (Caldwell, ID) to face the Falcons in a 4A Southern Idaho game on Tuesday, January 24. The Falcons enter the game with a record of 5-8.
