The Southwest EC Eagles basketball team (El Centro, CA), was overwhelmed 63-35 in Friday's league battle with the host Calexico Bulldogs (Calexico, CA)
The Bulldogs now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Central for a Imperial Valley battle on Tuesday, January 17. Calexico will confront a Spartans team coming off a 58-52 league win over Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 12-7.
The Eagles (2-15) will now prepare for their battle against Brawley (Brawley, CA). The Wildcats come into the Imperial Valley battle with a 5-14 record. In their last battle, Brawley was overwhelmed by Palo Verde Valley (Blythe, CA), 51-33, in a league battle.
