With the victory, Cannon County improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Huntland (Huntland, TN) to confront the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 11-7. Huntland won 58-56 in their recent league challenge against Moore County (Lynchburg, TN)

Next up, the Purple Tigers confront the White House Blue Devils (White House, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Watertown will attempt to improve on its 6-12 season record.
