North Carolina High School Basketball - Coastal Christian ripped by Cape Fear Academy

The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Coastal Christian Centurions to 36 in the Hurricanes league triumph on Friday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Pauls for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Cape Fear Academy will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 69-55 non-league loss to Richmond (Rockingham, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-8.

The Centurions (8-11) will now prepare for their contest against St. David's (Raleigh, NC). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, St. David's was routed by Trinity Academy (Raleigh, NC), 61-32, in a league contest.
