North Carolina High School Basketball - Sugar Creek trounced by Carolina International

The Carolina International Comets routed the host Sugar Creek Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 96-56 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Comets face the Queen's Grant Stallions (Matthews, NC) in a 1A Conference 38 game, on Thursday, January 19. Carolina International will attempt to move on its 9-13 season record.

With the defeat, Sugar Creek moves to 3-7 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Cabarrus Charter (Concord, NC) to face the Huskies in a 1A Conference 38 game on Wednesday, January 18. The Huskies enter the game with a record of 4-8. Cabarrus Charter lost 84-65 in their recent league game against Piedmont Community Charter (Gastonia, NC)
