Carroll Eagles (Ozark, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Greenville Tigers (Greenville, AL), 63-61 in a league bout.

With the win, Carroll upgrades its record to 18-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Charles Henderson (Troy, AL) to clash with the Trojans in a 5A Area 4 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Trojans go into the bout with a record of 12-5.

Next up, the Tigers clash with the Hillcrest Jaguars (Evergreen, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 16. Greenville will attempt to upgrade on its 8-13 season record. The Jaguars go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 58-41 league win over W.S. Neal (East Brewton, AL).
