Carteret Ramblers (Carteret, NJ) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Metuchen Bulldogs (Metuchen, NJ), 48-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Carteret upgrades its record to 2-7 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Manville (Manville, NJ) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 21. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 6-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the North Plainfield Canucks (North Plainfield, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Metuchen will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Canucks go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 78-52 non-league loss to North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ).
