California High School Basketball - Golden Valley edges Castaic

January 13, 2023: Santa Clarita, CA 91321

In Friday's league outing, the Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) basketball squad nipped the visiting Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA), by a margin of 54-50.

The Grizzlies (13-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hart (Newhall, CA). The Indians go into the Foothill outing with a 13-8 record. In their last outing, Hart got by South East (South Gate, CA), 55-30, in a non-league outing.

The Coyotes now own a 10-14 record. They play next when they host Valencia for a Foothill outing on Tuesday, January 17. Castaic will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 67-53 league win over Saugus (Saugus, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 11-9.
