The Celeste Blue Devils (Celeste, TX) basketball knocked off the host Trenton Tigers (Trenton, TX), 43-32 in Friday's league test.

The Blue Devils (15-8) will now prepare for their test against Whitewright (Whitewright, TX). The Tigers go into the 2A Region II District 14 test with a 3-16 record. In their last test, Whitewright went down by Bland (Merit, TX), 59-44, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Wolfe City for a 2A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 17. Trenton will encounter a Wolves squad coming off a 57-48 league win over Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 10-11.
