Colorado High School Basketball - Pagosa Springs tipped by Centauri

In Friday's league match, the host Centauri Falcons basketball team scored a tight 43-38 triumph over the Pagosa Springs Pirates.

In their next game, the Falcons meet the Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO) in a 4A/3A Intermountain match, on Saturday, January 14. Centauri will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 5-4 record after their 63-57 league loss to Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO).

With the defeat, Pagosa Springs moves to 8-2 on the year. The Pirates host Ignacio (Ignacio, CO) to face the Bobcats in a 4A/3A Intermountain game on Saturday, January 14. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 2-6. Ignacio lost 52-30 in their recent league game against Alamosa (Alamosa, CO)
