With the win, Elizabethtown upgrades its record to 9-3 on the season. The Panthers host Evangel Christian (Louisville, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 8-1.

Next up, the Bruins play the Washington County Commanders (Springfield, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 14. Central Hardin will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Commanders go into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 56-45 non-league win over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY).
