In Friday's league outing, the South Lakes Seahawks (Reston, VA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA), by a count of 70-36.
The Seahawks (11-3) will now prepare for their outing against Westfield (Chantilly, VA). The Bulldogs go into the District 1 outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Westfield smashed Oakton (Vienna, VA), 38-36, in a league outing.
The Chargers now hold a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Centreville for a District 1 outing on Tuesday, January 17. Chantilly will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 75-65 non-league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-9.
