Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Chisum Mustangs (Paris, TX), 58-34 in a league bout.

With the win, Lone Oak upgrades its record to 4-19 on the season. The Buffaloes travel to Grand Saline (Grand Saline, TX) to play the Indians in a 3A Region II District 12 bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 13-11. Grand Saline lost 37-36 in their recent league bout against Prairiland (Pattonville, TX)

Next up, the Mustangs play the Grand Saline Indians (Grand Saline, TX) in a 3A Region II District 12 bout, on Friday, January 20. Chisum will attempt to upgrade on its 6-14 season record.
