With the victory, Christ the King improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to play the Pride in a 1A/2A Conference 39 challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Pride come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Pine Lake Prep lost 77-67 in their recent league challenge against Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC)

Next up, the Lions play the Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 39 challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Langtree Charter will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Raptor come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 63-46 league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC).
