Christian Family Academy Fire (Hickory, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Haywood Christian Academy Red Wolves (Waynesville, NC), 72-24 in a league bout.

With the win, Christian Family Academy upgrades its record to 5-6 on the season. The Fire travel to Nebo Crossing Academy (Nebo, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Western Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-1. Nebo Crossing Academy won 51-50 in their recent league bout against Pinnacle Classical Academy (Shelby, NC)

Next up, the Red Wolves clash with the Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC) in a Western Piedmont bout, on Friday, January 20. Haywood Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record.
