Texas High School Basketball - Churchill knocked off by Lee

The Lee Volunteers basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Churchill Chargers to 47 in the Volunteers league triumph on Friday.
The Volunteers now sport a 11-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host SA Roosevelt for a 6A Region IV District 28 contest on Wednesday, January 18. Lee will battle a Rough Riders team coming off a 61-53 league loss to Marshall (San Antonio, TX). The Rough Riders record now stands at 10-17.
The Chargers (17-8) will now prepare for their contest against Madison (San Antonio, TX). The Mavericks enter the 6A Region IV District 28 contest with a 11-16 record. In their last contest, Madison was defeated by Johnson (San Antonio, TX), 48-43, in a league contest.
