The Cleveland Blue Raiders basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting McMinn County Cherokees to 51 in the Blue Raiders league triumph on Friday.

The Blue Raiders now sport a 16-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webb for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 14.

The Cherokees (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Walker Valley (Cleveland, TN). The Mustangs enter the 4A District 5 contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Walker Valley was outscored by Bradley Central (Cleveland, TN), 59-56, in a league contest.
