Fans at Friday's league challenge between the University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) and the visiting Cloudland Highlanders (Roan Mountain, TN), saw University's basketball squad wallop Cloudland by a count of 74-41.

With the victory, University upgrades its record to 6-6 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to KACHEA (Kingsport, TN) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 14. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.

Next up, the Highlanders play the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 16. Cloudland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 59-46 league loss to Avery County (Newland, NC).
