The Cocalico Eagles basketball team (Denver, PA), dropped 64-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Donegal Indians (Mt. Joy, PA)
The Indians now possess a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eastern Lebanon County for a Lancaster-Lebanon 4 battle on Tuesday, January 17. Donegal will battle a Raiders team coming off a 63-50 league loss to Octorara Area (Atglen, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 7-6.
The Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Lampeter-Strasburg (Lampeter, PA). The Pioneers come into the Lancaster-Lebanon 3 battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Lampeter-Strasburg beat Northern Lebanon (Fredericksburg, PA), 52-23, in a non-league battle.
