The Colonial Beach Drifters basketball team (Colonial Beach, VA), was overwhelmed 63-24 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA)
The Red Devils now possess a 10-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Altavista for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 14. Lancaster will confront a Colonels team coming off a 84-57 league win over Chatham (Chatham, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 10-2.
The Drifters (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Westmoreland (Montross, VA). The Eagles come into the Northern Neck battle with a 5-5 record.
