Texas High School Basketball - Creekview overwhelmed by Newman Smith

The Newman Smith Trojans basketball team scored 78 points and restricted the visiting Creekview Mustangs to 44 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.
The Trojans now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Frisco for a 5A Region II District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Newman Smith will battle a Raccoons team coming off a 60-55 league loss to Reedy (Frisco, TX). The Raccoons record now stands at 9-10.
The Mustangs (4-15) will now prepare for their match against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers enter the 5A Region II District 9 match with a 11-12 record. In their last match, Lone Star crushed Turner (Carrollton, TX), 68-50, in a league match.
